Established in 2022, The Squad is Richmond Fire-Rescue’s community outreach team, bringing engaging, hands-on fire safety education to schools, community events, seniors programs and festivals across Richmond.

Together with The Big Rig, The Squad connects with thousands of residents each year—answering questions, building confidence and strengthening community relationships through approachable, memorable learning experiences.
