Richmond Fire-Rescue
Proud To Serve
We’re the City of Richmond’s fire and rescue service — committed to protecting and educating the people who live, work and play here.
How can we help you today?
The Squad, Est. 2022, is Richmond Fire-Rescue’s community outreach team, bringing fire safety education beyond the fire hall and directly into the community.
Through school visits, community events, seniors programs, festivals, and hands-on learning experiences, The Squad helps make fire safety education engaging, interactive, and memorable.
Alongside The Big Rig, The Squad connects with thousands of residents every year — creating opportunities to learn, ask questions, build confidence, and strengthen community relationships in a fun and approachable way.
From classrooms to community centres, The Squad proudly represents Richmond Fire-Rescue’s commitment to education, prevention, and public service.
