We’re the City of Richmond’s fire and rescue service — committed to protecting and educating the people who live, work and play here.
We are a team of over 200 dedicated men and women who respond to multiple emergency and non-emergency calls every day, from fires to medical emergencies, motor vehicle incidents, and more.
We are also community leaders and educators, offering a wide range of public education and prevention services to further our mission to protect and enhance the City’s livability through service excellence.
